The launch, in 1952, of the model 88 was one of the great milestones in the history of the Italian writing instrument brand Aurora. In a complicated context marked by the disastrous consequences of World War II, those responsible for the firm hired the renowned industrial designer Marcello Nizzoli with the purpose of devising for them a pen that would revitalize the company and mark the difference with respect to its competitors. Its purpose was more than fulfilled and today we can say that its mythical creation has become, for many experts in the field, the best valued Italian fountain pen of all time.

Today Aurora recovers its famous model with the edition of a complete series that takes its name from its glorious ancestor and aims to achieve its fantastic success by resorting to the characteristic Italian classicism without neglecting the introduction of the most notable technical advances.
