At present, the Pelikan limited edition pens are divided into three large collections: the series "Seven Wonders of the world", which began in the year 2001 and that, as its name designates, performs an exciting journey through the impressive monuments that were included in the select list by their overwhelming greatness; the "major influences on the civilization", with exquisite pieces that recall, since the release of the first model in 2007, important discoveries and advances that have changed the course of history for humanity; and finally, the "Maki-e", composed by real jewels elaborated with Urushi lacquer and powders of different precious metals following the Japanese traditional technique that gives it its name.
