Platinum brings its limited-edition “Shape of a Heart” collection to a close with the release of its fourth and final model: the Platinum Century Bluebird fountain pen. A beautiful pen that closes the circle of this magnificent line of products and that stands out for a refined combination of colors and materials composed of an off-white resin body, a pastel blue resin cap, both equipped with a matte finish obtained by treating the resin with sandblasting, and various decorative elements in rose gold-plated metal.

The Shape of a Heart line is based on the famous 3776 Century model and gives it its own personality through the adoption of specific finishes for this series and, above all, by the inclusion of the most characteristic element of this fascinating set of fountain pens. This is none other than the transparent dome that crowns its cap, which includes inside a large number of zircons and a small gold heart that comes from the cutout of the nib's breathing hole. A piece that is normally discarded and recast for later reuse and that is here reused as an ornamental detail. In this specific case with a peculiarity, since it is the last model in this series, Platinum has decided to include four hearts instead of one. Among the most notable qualities of this model are its characteristic torpedo profile with rounded ends and aesthetic details such as the double ring located at the lower end of the cap, with the widest ring embossed with the name of the brand and the collection in which it is part, or its elegant clip, with a rounded silhouette and a beautiful profile that highlights its perimeter, without forgetting functional elements such as its "Slip & Seal" sealing system, a watertight closing mechanism designed by Platinum to keep the ink fresh in the nib after months of disuse, its practical cartridge or converter loading system or the secure screw closure of its cap.

The nib of the Century Shape of a Heart Bluebird fountain pen is made of 14K solid gold and has a rose gold coating to match its ornamental details and the usual engraved decoration of the Century model, consisting of a beautiful heart-shaped breathing hole, a double line that runs through the perimeter of the tines and imitates the shape of Mount Fuji, the number 3776 that is part of the name of the collection and recalls the height in meters of the aforementioned mountain, the "P" of Platinum and the references to the purity of the gold used in its manufacture and the width of its point, which in this case is available in fine (F), medium (M) and broad (B).

Finally, it should be noted that, naturally, such a special writing pen has an equally unique presentation consisting of a case that, in addition to the fountain pen, includes an ink cartridge, a converter and a brown ink bottle with a metal cap on which the "Shape of a Heart" shield is stamped.
