Platinum Century 3776 Laurel Green Fountain Pen
The beautiful emerald green tone of the translucent AS resin used in the construction of its body, its cap and its grip section and the contrast of it with its gold-plated metal ornaments is one of the most outstanding points, in the aesthetic and material sense, of the Platinum 3776 Century Laurel Green fountain pen, a refined writing tool that is part of the 3776 Century line of the Platinum brand produced by this veteran Japanese company with more than a hundred years of history behind it.

The 3776 Century is Platinum's most famous collection and a model created to commemorate the brand's first centenary. Its characteristic shapes have their origin in a design devised by master Haruo Umeda, who in 1978 developed a nib, a feeder and a mold that was named 3776 in allusion to the height in meters of the most sacred and well-known mountain in Japan: Mount Fuji. Based on this design, Platinum would end up developing the current 3776 Century product line.
Among the most notable features of this model are aesthetic details such as the double ring located at the lower end of the cap, embossed with the name of the brand and the collection in which it is part, and its elegant clip, with a silhouette rounded and with a beautiful profile that highlights its perimeter, but also functional elements such as its "Slip & Seal" sealing system, a watertight closing mechanism designed by Platinum to preserve fresh ink in the nib after months of disuse, its practical cartridge or converter loading system and the secure screw closure of its cap.

The nib of the 3776 Century Laurel Green fountain pen is made of solid 14K gold and has the usual engraved decoration of the Century model, consisting of a beautiful heart-shaped breathing hole, a double line that runs along the perimeter of the tines and imitates the shape of Mount Fuji, the number 3776 that is part of the name of the collection and recalls the height in meters of the aforementioned mountain, the "P" for Platinum and references to the purity of gold used in its manufacture and the width of its point, which in this case is available in ultra-extra-fine (UEF), extra-fine (EF), fine (F), soft-fine (SF), medium (M), broad (B) and double broad (BB). (Note: Choosing the UEF and BB thicknesses entails a slight increase in the final price of the fountain pen and may imply a slight increase in the delivery time).

Like all the models in this collection, the Platinum 3776 Century Laurel Green fountain pen is served in its corresponding gift box.
