Born as a set of pieces that proposed a hybrid solution between the traditional concept of a fountain pen and rollerball pens or markers, the Ingenuity product line has recently undergone a radical shift, opting for a return to more conventional writing formats such as fountain pens. This conceptual revolution, however, has not entailed major aesthetic changes, as its successful design has remained virtually intact. It is basically defined by the robust air and substantial packaging conveyed by its predominantly straight shapes, with flat edges and a silhouette that tapers toward the edges.

Ingenuity fountain pens are hand-assembled and undergo rigorous quality controls before being released to the market, and are individually hand-tested to ensure proper function. These meticulous procedures are an excellent example of the company's craftsmanship and legendary tradition, resulting in a tremendously pleasurable writing experience. However, their great functionality does not detract from their ornateness and beauty, which are highlighted by decorative details such as the wide tripartite band at the bottom of the cap, engraved with the Parker name and logo, or the iconic arrow-shaped clip.

The nib is available in fine (F) and medium (M) thicknesses and is made, in this case, from stainless steel with a gold PVD coating that matches the grip section and decorative details. It is fed via a practical cartridge or converter loading system and features an engraved decoration that includes the company name in capital letters and an intricate network of lines that occupy almost its entire surface and create the unmistakable silhouette of the arrow that has been associated with this brand since its inception.
