The Otto line is a stunning collection inspired by modern haute horlogerie and the work of designer Gérald Genta. It represents the culmination of an exciting process of design experimentation initiated by Montegrappa in 2020 with the launch of the Zero series and continued two years later with the release of the Quattro line. On a purely formal level, the first of the aforementioned collections stood out for its traditional circular profile, while the Quattro series increased its complexity and featured beautiful four-sided faceting.

The Otto collection raises the bar and stands out for the beautiful eight-sided faceting that shapes its profile, with rounded edges and soft curves that pose a manufacturing and assembly challenge for the Montegrappa workers who handcraft them with great skill and precision.

In terms of its functional elements, the Otto Palladio fountain pen features a convenient wheel clip for easy pocket insertion and a gorgeous rhodium-plated 18K solid gold nib that can be filled with ink via a cartridge or converter filling system. It features a beautifully engraved decoration featuring Montegrappa's signature octagonal mesh and is available in a variety of nib points, including Extra Fine (EF), Fine (F), Medium (M), Broad (B), and Stub 1.1.
