Montegrappa celebrates the Chinese Year of the Snake in 2025 with the launch of a stunning limited-edition: the Montegrappa Year of the Snake fountain pen. A spectacular creation that makes a visual impact thanks to its combination of premium materials, precious stones, and a stunning engraved decoration that recreates the ubiquitous snake motif on its barrel and cap.

The shape of this fantastic pen reflects the characteristic design of Montegrappa's Extra 1930 model, with an elegant and timeless silhouette with flat ends and slightly rounded lines inspired by a famous fountain pen from the 1930s housed in the brand's museum in Bassano del Grappa.

The Montegrappa Year of the Snake fountain pen is crafted from sterling silver decorated, as previously mentioned, with detailed engraved ornamentation achieved using the innovative "Infinity" multi-axial fiber laser technique and enhanced with various tarnishing and brushing effects that accentuate the sharpness of the engraving. This rich ornamental design reaches its peak with the inclusion of two 2 mm. emeralds recreating the snake's eyes on the barrel and cap, and a third one dominating the upper part of the clip.

Completing the material offering of this sumptuous piece is the Juma "Green Mamba" resin used in the production of its grip section, endowed with a striking scale effect that once again emphasizes the overall theme of the piece and turned with a gentle curvature that facilitates grip and increases its undeniable aesthetic appeal.

In terms of its functional elements, the Year of the Snake fountain pen features a fabulous 18K solid gold nib with a rhodium finish designed to complement the pen's overall color scheme. It is filled with ink via an integrated piston filling system and features an exclusive engraved decoration reproducing the snake motif with a black outline that highlights the design's contours.
