It is worth highlighting, in this sense, its unique loading mechanism, which clearly recalls the classic "eyedropper" system and which, in fact, is supplied with ink through an inkwell and a pipette (included in the case), but it has a patented sealing mechanism that, when screwing on the cap, closes the ducts through which the ink accesses the nib, preventing possible leaks even during travel and under the pressure conditions of an airplane. This system, very easy to operate, increases the loading capacity of the fountain pen to approximately the equivalent of 7 ink cartridges, which results in enormous autonomy. All in all, and despite this immense loading capacity, Diplomat designers have not forgotten to include the relevant transparent window in the body to be able to control the level of ink in the tank at all times.
