The fountain pens in the Léman line are inspired by the lake of the same name, also called Lake Geneva, the largest in Western Europe and an impressive body of water that includes on its shores towns such as Montreux, Lausanne and Geneva, the city that has housed the headquarters of Caran d'Ache since its foundation in 1915. A very appropriate name for a collection that stands out for its elegant design of soft curves, for the lacquer coatings that envelop its different models and for the contrast it offers with metal elements such as those at its head, its clip, its grip section or the decorative band that finishes the lower end of its caps, on which the company name is engraved in refined capital letters.

A rich combination of materials, finishes, and colors inspired, as we have said, by Lake Geneva and intended to convey the beauty of its landscape, the reassuring stillness of its waters, and the captivating sparkles caused by the reflection of light on its surface.

As for the functional aspects of the stylographs in this line, it features a superb rhodium-coated 18K solid gold nib decorated with beautiful engraved ornamentation that includes the Caran d'Ache logo, references to the thickness of the nib and the purity of the gold used in its manufacture, and a series of parallel lines that group in pairs and diverge as we move our gaze towards the nib. This fantastic element is fed by a universal cartridge or converter loading system and is available, in this specific case, only in medium point (M).
