Bottled ink
Bottled fountain pen ink makes the difference. Certainly the western lifestyle of these times has led, as far as writing is concerned, into the use of faster electronic devices and with the possibility of correcting typographical mistakes. Ink cartridges, as well as ballpoint pens and rollerballs, are also adaptations to this way of life. But the use of bottled ink, also called inkwells in the past, not only persists, but has gained strength in recent years. Perhaps the reason is the need to take time for yourself, a moment of relaxation in which to perform the ritual of filling a prized fountain pen with ink. Perhaps the smell of the ink has an influence, the possibilities of creating personal inks by mixing others, or simply because of the presence and elegance that a ink bottle brings to a desk. The truth is that the inkstand do not remain mere cartridges, all of them with the same shape, but there is a concern, both from the manufacturer and the user, for its design, for its functionality and for the quality and density of each ink. Due to all these reasons and some others, bottled ink makes the difference.
