Aurora Hastil 027
The Italian company Aurora recovers, to the delight of lovers of writing pens, what is surely the most legendary creation in its almost one hundred years of history: the famous Hastil fountain pen.
Conceived in 1970 by the prestigious architect and industrial designer Marco Zanuso, its sober minimalist aesthetic and technical innovations made it a cult object that is still permanently displayed in the showcases of the Museum of Modern Art (MOMA) in New York.
This wonderful piece is re-released in different versions, among which is the Hastil 027 model, a faithful reproduction of the original prototype with a body and cap made of ecosteel satin steel with its characteristic cylindrical shape.

It has a patented anchoring system composed of a series of plastic footings that allow precise adjustment of the cap to the body during writing and prevent the appearance of undesirable scratches on its surface.
Its delicate clip has a spring mechanism that makes it barely protrude so as not to interrupt the refined lines of the set.

The charging system is ink cartridges, but can be easily modified to aerometric using Aurora's Trik-trak converter (not included).
It has a futuristic nib made of stainless steel that is available in points EF, F, M and B, and is perfectly complemented by the exclusive “Idrograph” feeding system, a technical prodigy that allows a stable flow of ink and recovers any possible excess providing smooth and regular writing.

A milestone in the design of fountain pens that will enchant those who know how to recognize and enjoy classicism within contemporary times.
